The Friendship Baptist Church, is known as one of the largest church populations in North Orange County, California. FBC recently celebrated a legacy of 57 years in ministry and currently serves the needs of an active in-person and online membership with over 2000 worshipers. With the support of active members, Friendship Baptist Church has over 50 spirit-filled volunteer ministries that offer events year-round for Youth, Adults, and Senior Citizens, on campus and in a variety of external outreach service capacities. The church campus grounds encompass a worship sanctuary, multi-purpose facility, educational center, and a pantry that distributes food/clothing donations to those in need. These facilities are located on one property of approximately eight acres, with plans for continued growth and expansion.
GENERAL SUMMARY
The role of the Facility Attendant position is to effectively demonstrate a high-level of building
maintenance skills for the entire church campus. To also provide support to church ministries and events by helping to keep the campus clean
and welcoming to attendees and guests. When interfacing with the staff, congregation, church visitors, and vendors, one must exhibit
a professional relationship and excellent customer service and willingness to serve.
GENERAL SUMMARY
The role of the Finance Manager is to coordinate and oversee the financial functions of Friendship to ensure business
effectiveness and continuous improvement of the church’s overall financial plans, policies, and activities. These processes
must be aligned with the church’s mission, vision, and values. Additionally, the Finance Manager is responsible for the
following items:
I. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Banking, budgeting, audit, tax accounting, financial reporting, contributions, and investments.
B. Ensuring fiscal accountability is maintained, financial reports are accurate, meaningful, and prepared on a timely basis.
C. Serving as the chief accountant for the church and working with outside CPA to ensure the provision of consistent, accurate, timely, and compliant accounting.
D. Ensuring the integrity of the church’s general ledger and financial records while leading and coordinating the annual audit of the church’s accounting records.
E. Responsible for tax reporting and compliance.
GENERAL SUMMARY
The role of the Executive Administrative Assistant is to demonstrate comprehensive professional skills
and high-level administrative support to both the Senior Pastor and Executive Pastor of Ministry
Advancement. The Executive Administrative Assistant is the primary contact for the leadership team.
High standards towards confidentiality and optimum discretion when dealing with all church matters are
required. When interfacing with the staff, congregation, church visitors, and vendors, one must exhibit a
professional relationship.
