SUNDAY HYMN

Is Your All On The Altar

1. You have longed for sweet peace,
And for faith to increase,
And have earnestly, fervently prayed.
But you cannot have rest,
Or be perfectly blest,
Until all on the altar is laid.

(REFRAIN)
Is your all on the altar of sacrifice laid?
Your heart does the Spirit control?
You can only be blest,
And have peace and sweet rest,
As you yield Him your body and soul.

2.  Would you walk with the Lord
In the light of His Word,
And have peace and contentment alway?
You must do His sweet will
To be free from all ill–
On the altar your all you must lay
(REFRAIN)

3.  Oh, we never can know
What the Lord will bestow
Of the blessings for which we have prayed,
Till our body and soul
He doth fully control,
and our all on the altar is laid
 (REFRAIN)

4.  Who can tell all the love
He will send from above,
And how happy our hearts will be made,
Of the fellowship sweet
We shall share at His feet
when our all on the altar is laid
(REFRAIN)

FAITHFUL GIVING
We want to say thank you for your giving and partnership.  YOUR GIVING MATTERS! Your faithful giving allows us to increasingly do the work of ministry for our members AND to everyone the Lord sends to us and sends us to.
2 Corinthians 9: 6-7 ESV
6 The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
Malachi 3:10 ESV
Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION

YOUNG ADULTS

ABUNDANCE

YOUNG ADULT BIBLE STUDY -  Abundance: Living Responsibly With God's Gifts will guide us into the biblical understanding of abundant life and help us sort out many of the faithful and practical issues that come together in a life of abundance.  Seven chapters offer Bible verses and discussion questions about "a life of joy," "material abundance," "over-indulgence," "Living simply," "money," "ways in which we are handled by our stuff," and "ethics." We'll wrestle with our personal finances, seeking always to discern the will of God.

Fortunately, if we will only have ears to hear, we are blessed with an abundance of biblical guidance. For Jesus really did have a preoccupation with wealth, speaking of money five times as often as prayer. Of course, his interest in wealth was not in its pursuit, but in the danger it can pose to Christian discipleship.

About Side by Side Couples Ministry
The Couple's Ministry is established for married couples to strengthen their relationship by offering a forum to gain knowledge and enlightened perspectives about God’s expectations regarding marriage and marital roles, as well as promote bonds and establish support groups within the ministry. These objectives are met through ongoing workshops where couples can learn about communication, submission, love, conflict resolution, family finance, etc. Shared experiences in a confidential manner help couples avoid potential marital pitfalls.  Our regular monthly virtual meetings are on the 2nd Friday of each month.

Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
