Meet our new Minister of Children, Youth and Young Adult
Rev. Jaron Singley
We are excited to welcome Rev. Jaron Singley to the Friendship Staff as our new Minister of Children, Youth and Young Adult Ministry,
(formerly Student and Family Ministry and Young Adult Ministry).
Rev. Singley comes to us from St. Stephen Baptist Church of La Puente with many years of experience working with young adults, youth, children and their parents. While there he created many successful ministries like a youth fraternity and FirstFam, a monthly gathering for parents with their kids. Rev. Singley also has a heart for missions and has done missions trips to Mali (3 times), El Salvador, Tanzania, Mexico, and Dubai. He also serves on the Disaster Relief Team for the Southern Baptist Convention and last served in the Houston area after Hurricane Harvey.
Rev. Singley received his bachelor's degree in Sociology and Public Administration from Cal Poly Pomona and graduated from Gateway Seminary (formerly Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary) with a Master’s of Divinity degree. His life Bible Passage is Ephesians 3:8.
He and is wife, Shirley, have been married for 22 years and have two daughters. Lael is 21 and attends Arizona State University and Jana is 17 and is a student at the International Polytechnic High School in Pomona.
In his free time Rev. Singley enjoys spending time with his family and exercising.
